How to choose
Start with watts, not with hours
The output rating (130W, 500W, 3.6kW) decides what you can switch on at all. Add up the wattage of everything you want running at the same time. If that total exceeds the unit's continuous rating, it will not work no matter how big the battery is.
Then look at the battery size
The kWh figure (320Wh, 1kWh, 8kWh) decides how long it lasts. A rough guide: watt-hours ÷ your load in watts ≈ hours of runtime, minus roughly 10–15% for conversion losses. A 1kWh unit carrying a 100W load lasts somewhere around 8–9 hours.
Decide whether you need solar at all
Every unit here charges from the wall socket. Solar panels are optional and can be added later. Many customers start with grid charging alone — it already removes the fuel, the noise and the fumes — and add panels when budget allows.
Check the switchover time if you have sensitive equipment
The Power Tank switches to battery in under 20 milliseconds, so routers, POS terminals and desktops keep running through an outage. Cheaper units often do not, and you will notice it.

- Portable units are sized for lights, fans, TVs, laptops, routers and POS machines — not for air conditioners, irons, hotplates, pumping machines or welding equipment.
- Actual runtime depends on your real load, battery age, temperature and how the unit is used. Treat any runtime figure as an estimate, not a guarantee.
- LiFePO₄ cells in the itel range are rated for 6,000+ charge cycles, which is far longer than a typical lead-acid or tubular battery.
- Portable stations need no installation, so there is no installer cost to budget for.

Common questions
What is the difference between a solar generator and an inverter system?
A solar generator is self-contained and portable — nothing is wired into your building. An inverter system is installed, connects to your house circuits, and scales to much larger loads. Solar generators suit renters, shops and light loads; inverter systems suit whole homes.
Can a solar generator run my fridge?
A modern inverter-type fridge or deep freezer can run on a 500W unit like the Power Tank for several hours. An older non-inverter fridge has a high starting surge and often will not start on a small unit. Tell us the model on WhatsApp and we will check the rating with you.
Do I need panels to use it?
No. All of these charge from a normal wall socket. Panels are an optional upgrade that gives you free daytime charging and independence from the grid.
Is it really cheaper than a generator?
